The short version: this site does not track you and the plugin does not call home. What follows is the detail.
1. This website
There is no analytics, no cookies and no tracking pixels. That is not a statement of intent: the site does not load a single resource from anyone else's server. You can check it in your browser's network tab.
The only thing your browser stores is your language preference, in local storage on your own machine, so we do not ask you twice. It never leaves it.
2. The plugin
The plugin sends no data. There is no telemetry or usage reporting, and the plugin itself never connects to the internet.
Activation is handled by Zonaris Hub. When you install a plugin, it sends our server a fingerprint of your machine — a digest of its identifier (the hardware one on macOS, the system installation's on Windows) from which the original cannot be recovered —, the computer's name and the operating system version, to tie the activation to your account. Every time you open Zonaris Hub while online it renews the activation by sending that same fingerprint; each renewal is valid for seven days. Zonaris Hub also checks whether a new version of itself is available, and for that it sends its version number, operating system and processor type.
3. The purchase
Purchases are processed by Paddle as merchant of record. Payment details are collected and held by Paddle: we never see your card.
From Paddle we receive your email address, the product bought and the country for tax purposes. We use it to issue your licence, to help you if you write, and to meet our accounting obligations.
4. Email
If you write to us we keep the message so we can help you and look up the history if you write again. We do not add your address to any mailing list unless you ask.
5. How long
Licence data, for as long as the licence exists — that is what lets you reactivate on a new machine. Purchase records, for the period the tax law of Colombia requires. Correspondence, for as long as it is useful in helping you.
6. Your rights
You can ask us for access to your data, its correction, its deletion or a copy in a readable format, by writing to [email protected]. We answer within 30 days at the latest.
Note that deleting your licence data means the plugin cannot be reactivated on a new machine. We will tell you before doing it.
7. Beta programme
If you take part in the beta programme, the beta programme privacy notice applies as well as this policy: what data we process during the beta —including the WhatsApp group—, what for and for how long. It only applies to people who authorise it when they ask to join.
8. Waiting list
Before launch you can leave us your name and email address so we can let you know when Volvo goes on sale. We keep those two details and the record of your authorisation (date, IP address and browser), and we use them only for that notice: we do not add you to any other list or create an account. We send it through Brevo. We delete the list six months after launch, or sooner if you ask us to or unsubscribe from the email itself.
