Beta programme privacy notice

What data we process.
- The data in this form: your name and email address, and the record that you accepted (date, IP address and browser).
- The data of your account and licence, as for any user: the machines where you activate the plugin (a hashed fingerprint, their name and their system), as explained in the privacy policy.
- Whatever you choose to send us during the beta: comments, bug reports, screenshots, recordings or audio files, and any technical details you include (system, DAW, version).
- Your phone number and WhatsApp name, if you take part in the programme's group.
We do not ask for sensitive data; please do not send us any.
What for. To assess your request and, if we approve it, create your account and your beta licence; to communicate with you about the beta by email and in the WhatsApp group; to send you the test versions; and to receive, analyse and answer your feedback in order to fix and improve the plugins. We do not use this data for advertising and we do not sell it. If we ever wanted to quote your opinion or your name publicly, for instance as a testimonial, we will ask for your permission separately.
Who it is shared with. With the providers that run the service on our behalf: Cloudflare (the website, accounts and downloads) and Brevo (sending email). And with WhatsApp (Meta), which runs the group under its own terms; inside the group, the other participants see your phone number and WhatsApp name. Some of these providers have servers outside Colombia, so your data may be transferred to other countries for that purpose.
How long. For as long as the beta programme lasts and up to twelve months after launch, so we can follow up on what you reported. Your account and licence data, as explained in the privacy policy. If we do not approve your request, we delete it after 30 days. The record of your acceptance is kept for as long as your account exists, because it is the proof that you gave us permission.
Your rights. Under Colombian Law 1581 of 2012 you may know, update and correct your data; ask for proof of this authorisation; know how we use it; revoke the authorisation or ask us to delete it, except for what we must keep by law; file complaints with the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce after raising them with us; and access it free of charge. Write to [email protected]: we answer queries within ten working days at most and complaints within fifteen. If you revoke the authorisation, you leave the programme and we withdraw your beta licence.
It is voluntary. If you do not authorise it we cannot include you in the programme, but that changes nothing about buying or using the plugins when they launch. For everything else, the general privacy policy applies.
Beta tester agreement

1. What the beta is. Early, free access to test versions of Volvo, and of other plugins if we invite you, before the public launch, so you can try them and tell us how they go. It does not oblige you to spend any minimum amount of time on it.
2. Your beta licence. It is free, personal and non-transferable: it cannot be sold, lent or handed over. It activates on two of your machines, like any licence, and lasts for as long as the programme does or until Zonaris Audio withdraws it; where possible, we will let you know beforehand. Taking part does not entitle you to a full licence when the product launches; if we make beta testers an offer, we will announce it separately.
3. Confidentiality. Until Zonaris Audio makes it public, what you see in the beta is confidential. You may use the plugin in your productions, but do not share the plugin or the installer, or publish screenshots, videos, reviews, comparisons or details of unannounced features, unless we give you permission. Whatever is already published on zonarisaudio.com or on our social media is no longer confidential.
4. Software under test. Beta versions may have bugs, change or be withdrawn, and could crash the host or affect a session. Use them with backups. They are provided “as is” and without warranty, under the terms of sale and use.
5. Your feedback. We may use the ideas, bugs and suggestions you give us freely to improve the plugins, without payment or any obligation to credit you. The audio files you send us remain yours: we only use them to reproduce and fix bugs, and we delete them when they are no longer needed.
6. The WhatsApp group. It is for the beta. Treat the others with respect and do not share other participants' details outside the group.
7. Leaving or ending. You can leave whenever you like by writing to [email protected]. Zonaris Audio may end the programme, or your participation, at any time, especially if this agreement is not kept. When it ends, the beta licence is deactivated and the plugin stops processing audio within seven days at most. Confidentiality continues until the public launch.
8. Everything else. For anything this agreement does not cover, the terms of sale and use apply, including the governing law. You must be of legal age to take part.
